The main differences between the SOLE F80 Vs. the TT8 are: The TT8 is a heavier duty commercial model (non-folding), and has a -6% decline grade which simulates downhill running and builds up different muscles. Both models have a 15% powered incline grade. The TT8 is superior to the F80 in several ways. The TT8 has a heavier duty motor (4.0 HP vs. 3.50HP), higher Maximum User weight (400lbs. vs. 375lbs), larger rollers (3-inch vs. 2.5-inch), and larger LCD screen. Both models come with an excellent warranty (better than most treadmills). The Sole Treadmills also have high consumer ratings. SOLE F80 Vs. TT8 Console Comparison: The consoles of both treadmills are similar, the TT8 has a larger LCD. Both models have 10 built-in programs, heart monitoring, workout buttons, and both screens are backlit (ideal for dimly lit rooms). The TT8 has an extra setting for decline. Both consoles are Bluetooth® enabled to connect to wireless heart telemetry and Bluetooth audio speakers . For safety, both have an emergency stop button, and cord.
Bottom Line: The TT8 offers a stronger fixed frame, larger 4.0 HP motor, higher user weight, larger 3-inch rollers, and a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, as well as 6 levels of decline (not on the F80). Decline simulates running downhill and builds up different muscles. Both treadmills have a running belt that is 22-inches (wider than most treadmills). The TT8 is a light commercial model, built to last longer and is heavier duty than the residential F80. Both models have the same excellent warranty which surpasses most competitor treadmill warranties.
The Sole models have higher consumer ratings and higher max user weight rating than most treadmills. Both models have a Tablet holder& USB charging port. Either treadmill will provide a solid workout for all users, including taller users (wide and long running belt), and is great for runners.
