NordicTrack S15i Vs. Echelon EX5-S Exercise Studio Bike Comparison: These two studio bikes are both designed for Studio classes at home. Both have large immersive screens that can swivel for off-bike workouts. Both provide live and on demand workouts by subscribing to their workout services. Both bikes have silent maintentance free magnetic resistance. Heart Telemetry through Bluetooth is provided on both bikes.
The NordicTrack bike is designed more like a Pelaton bike with a large 15-inch HD touchscreen, front mounted flywheel, and connectivity to the internet to unlock up to 16,000 workout programs.
NordicTrack: iFit with 16,000 workout programs, live workouts & Google Maps, LIVE Resistance Control, incline/decline, and the screen can swivel so you can workout off the bike. A 30 day iFit membership is included with the S15i or S22i Bike. You can flip the screen away from the bike and use it for training videos – yoga, pilates, cardio.

The Echelon EX5-S Smart Connect Bike is an indoor cycling bike that has a larger 21.5-inch touchscreen (vs. 15-inch on the Nordictrack), but the bike did not get as high reviews from consumers on both the bike and the Online classes and the APP. The NordicTrack S15i has a 15-inch HD Touchscreen, you can also buy the S22i which has a 22-inch screen (same size as a Pelaton bike). Both models allow you to view iFit live and recorded workouts. Nordictrack gives you a 30 day trial to iFit, while Echelon gives you 30 days to their Echelon Premier which is more limited than iFit. The Nordictrack S15i is considered a commercial grade bike and has a higher user weight limit. The S15i is lower in price than the Echelon (the S22i is about the same price). The Echelon Smart Connect Bike has a large 21.5-inch touchscreen used along with the Echelon APP.
NordicTrack S15i Vs. Echelon EX5-S Console Comparison: The Echelon console is substantially larger (21.5 vs. 15-inches). Both are HD touchscreens about 22-inches in size. The large screens give you a more immersive experience when using the iFit or Echelon workouts, which is similar to a Pelaton bike. If you want the same size screen from Nordictrack, you can opt for their S22i model.
NordicTrack's Incline & Decline feature can be controlled manually or by interactive workout program.
Only the Nordictrac has incline & decline capability. Reviews seem to favor the Nordictrack over the Echelon. If you are looking for a highly rated bike with online classes and the ability to ride around the world then the S15i or S22i by NordicTrack which works like a Pelaton bike is going to be your choice. The price of the Nordictrack S15i bike is cheaper.
