Both models have magnetic resistance, powered incline, telemetric heart & pulse grips, Controls built into the handles, and have built-in fans & speakers. Both models are about 70 inches in length, 12 inches shorter than the other SOLE ellipticals, making either of them easier to fit in a home gym.
The main differences between the SOLE E25 and SOLE E55 are: The SOLE E55 has a heavier frame and higher user weight. The Sole E55 also has improved deluxe handlebars with controls built-in. While both consoles are backlit, the E55 has a much larger display and includes a telemetry heart rate strap. The warranty on the E55 is longer for parts & electronics ( 5 years vs. 3 years). Both have lifetime frame warranties.

Both consoles have a fan and speakers, and bluetooth enabled speakers. Each console has dedicated buttons for programs, and ramp height. Both have powered incline. Both models also have controls right on the handlebars for convenience.
The SOLE E55 has a longer parts & electronics warranty (5 years), a more deluxe set of handlebars with more places to grip, a heavier frame & flywheel for stability, and higher user weight limit (375 lbs.)
The Sole E25 beats the E55 on price only, but the discount is substantial.
Bottom Line Sole E25 Vs. Sole E55 Differences: The SOLE E55 model offers a much larger LCD screen, sturdier frame, deluxe handlebars, higher user weight,as well as heavier flywheel. The Sole E25 sells for under $1200 and is considered a great value for the feature set. Both ellipticals offer a USB Charging port to power your iPad, tablet, or smartphone. We feel that the SOLE E25 is the best value for the money. Both models are well rated and give you a low impact workout.
