The main differences between the NordicTrack 1750 and 2950 are: The 2950 model from a structural standpoint has a slightly heavier frame, and stronger 4.25 HP motor. The 2950 has a larger 22-inch HD Touchscreen vs. a 10-inch screen on the 1750. The 2950 has 3 workout fans, the 1750 has 2. The 1750 actually has 10 more onboard workout programs (50 vs. 40). These onboard programs can be used even if you don’t enable iFit. The iFit (on both models) can unlock many more programs (16,000). NordicTrack 1750 vs. 2950 Console Comparison: The HD touchscreen of the 2950 is over double the size at 22-inches (the 1750’s touchscreen is 10-inches). The console on both models allows you to view all the iFit features, including Google Maps, Interactive Training, and iFit Coach. Both consoles are backlit (ideal for dimly lit rooms), the 1750 has 50 onboard workout programs (The 2950 has 40 ). The onboard will work even if you don’t activate iFit. Both consoles are Bluetooth® and Wifi enabled with APP, and have manual controls for incline and speed. For safety, both have an emergency stop button, and cord.
Bottom Line: The NordicTrack Commercial 2950 treadmill is a heavier duty model than the 1750 model, offering a larger 4.25 HP motor, and a much larger 22-inch touchscreen, and more workout fans. The 2950 also has a better non-stretch 2-Ply commercial running belt. The 1750 however is substantially cheaper than the 2950, and has a few more onboard programs. The commercial 2950 (NTL19119), and the commercial 1750 (NTL14119) are both higher end heavy duty treadmills designed for home use. The higher power motors on both models will prevent straining, which can burn out lower horsepower motors on cheaper treadmills. Either treadmill will provide a solid workout for all users, including taller users (wide and long running belt), and great for runners.
For Runners: The NordicTrack 1750, 2450 and 2950 all have four key components for runners. This includes High User Weight Capacity (300 lbs.), a Long and Wide Running Deck (22″x60″), Incline & Decline Grade, and a very Powerful Motor.
