Cleaning Tools for Pet Hair – All Cat-and-Dog models come with 3 tools to tackle pet hair. These tools include the SEB 228 motorized floor tool (good for Low, Medium, and High pile carpeting). The handheld turbo pet hair tool for smaller areas like upholstery, stairs, and car interiors.

The last included tool is the Parquet hard floor brush tool (soft natural bristles won’t scratch hard floors). Another unique feature only seen in Cat & Dog models and not seen in any competitor vacuum is an activated charcoal filter that absorbs pet odors (bagged canisters only). For above floor cleaning all Miele canisters come with a dusting brush, upholstery tool and a crevice tool, which attach to the wand & hose.

Miele C3, C1, Cx1 (Cat & Dog) Canister Vacuum Differences: The differences between the models are as follows, the Cat & Dog C3 and CX1 are full size canisters. The C1 is a compact canister vacuum, and lower priced. The Miele Blizzard CX1 is bagless, the other models are bagged. The bagged models have 6 suction levels, the CX1 bagless model has 4 suction levels. The bagged models come standard with a charcoal activated filter to absorb pet odors. The bagless CX1 comes with a HEPA filter. The compact C1 has a smaller dust bag than the full size C3 model. All of these models are designed with pets in mind, allergens, and pet hair.

Miele Floor Tools – The Cat & Dog models include two floor tools. This includes the SEB228 Motorized Floor Tool with motorized brushroll for low, medium, and high pile carpeting. This floor tool is recommended by Soft Carpet manufacturers on difficult to vacuum Soft/Plush and high pile carpets. Also included is the Parquet Twister, hard floor tool with soft natural bristles which won’t scratch hardwood floors. This tool has a double swivel neck to provide 180-degree rotation.

Miele-Mini Turbo Brush – Miele Cat & Dog canisters come with a mini turbine (air driven) pet tool. This tool is perfect for smaller areas of cleaning, including stairs, upholstery, and car interiors. The tool is effective at removing pet hair, dirt and dust. The C1 has a slightly smaller STB 20 brush, the C3 and CX1 version comes with the larger tool.
